To celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge this year we have been making an extra effort to promote Gaeilge in our school. Our classes each took part in Gaeilge stations where they played fun vocabulary games and read 'Big Books'. We had our Lá Glas last week where all of the boys and staff wore green. We had a Ceolchoirm (concert) in the hall with each class performing a song or poem 'as Gaeilge'. It was fantastic to have everyone together. To finish the day we went out to the yard and performed 'An Dreolín' lead by Ms Bailey. First Class then iced some St Patrick's Day biscuits with Ms Bailey!
