Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope that you and your family are keeping well during these very challenging and worrying times.
As you have heard, we are back to remote teaching and learning once again from next Monday January 11th. We know that this is a very difficult time for many people. Many of you will be juggling normal working patterns, working from home full time, trying to home school more than one child, lack of devices and/or poor broadband and so we need to be understanding in what we can expect from our families and our staff. There is no obligation on families to complete the activities we will suggest. Everyone's main focus should be on keeping safe and healthy. Our teachers are doing their best to help your children in the full knowledge that school cannot be replicated in a confined environment.
We will continue to use the platform Seesaw to engage with the boys. Your son’s teacher will be in touch with you by email on Monday with a plan for the next week .
I would ask you not to worry about what is being missed in school, about not completing the curriculum at this time. What we need to do now is reassure our children that this will pass. Read a book, bake, play board games, exercise and most importantly play! We look forward to seeing some photos from the boys doing some activities from home and when we return to school, we look forward to hearing about how they spent their time.
Stay safe and well.
Yours Sincerely,
Siobhán
